These Two.

I remember when Courtney told me she met Zach and that they had started dating each other.

It finally felt like my graduate school sista sista had found someone who not only could spend time with her family, but would take her places, treat her like she deserved to be treated (a queen, of course), and would go on adventures with her like she'd always dreamed her partner would do.....and what has Zach done? exactly that. I love watching their love blossom over the last year and a half and I'm SO thankful he asked me to capture their proposal and that we could trick Courtney into believing our photos were rescheduled due to rain (I mean they were....and I'm busy, but never too busy for you).

Our session was nothing short of magical, and I cannot wait to see these two shine on their big day.

Coming soon the future Mr. + Mrs. Dressel :)

Friends + Family

Even Courtney and Zach's friends got to play a part in their big proposal day (another blog post up ahead!) and of course at their engagement....and another babe that's even more important, their fur baby Maisie :) The real star of the show.

The MAGIC of Sunset + Golden Hour Sessions

I just want to take this opportunity to share with yall that my MAIN focus in sessions is capturing love, and belonging, and memories, but I AM A SUCKER FOR SUNSET. If we can swing it, I'm dancing with yall in the sun, swimming in a river, playing in a field....as long as there's a sunset with it.

I MEAN LOOK AT THESE. just magic. I love every single of these photos.

PICK A LOCATION THAT REMINDS YOU OF YOUR LOVE STORY.

I'm serious! You want your engagement photos + bridal portraits or any story we help you tell to claim the narrative of your love.

We want you to remember these as sweet moments where you were in love, fully involved in the wedding + ceremony process, and feeling carefree + creative.

Courtney and Zach love hiking, to be outdoors in nature, to be with their puppy, and to hang out with each other and laugh.

I truly believe we captured that all together.

Part of telling that story was meeting them in the middle of Shelby + Gaffney where they both live at a nature park.

AND I HAVE TO GO BACK HERE.
