What I didn't know then, is that things could in fact get worse.
it's strange to go back and read this blog post, from 2 years ago.
if you're wondering which one: click on the photo below. (it's also linked here: https://photosbyburtgreengregory.mypixieset.com/blog/how-i-am-turning-blackwhite-trauma-into-colors-of-resiliency-thankfulness-and-grace/)
...and it's time to update this because life got a lot more wild, a lot more weird, but a lot more full of grace + and joy.
I still believe in my resiliency vest, even though sometimes I want to take it off, set it down for a while, and never pick up trauma ever again...I know that difficult times are what we have to endure while on earth, and that vulnerability is a shield of honor that I can choose to wear in the face of adversity.
sending you all so much love as you go through so much, too.
I'm not sure how I want to describe resiliency + vulnerability just yet, but know that the trials that have been placed in front of us aren't quite over yet and until then, I am still processing how we made it through the tunnel of darkness, and are approaching peace + light.
